The 2026 Vermont Renaissance Faire will be the largest in the event’s history, featuring more performers, expanded food and beverage offerings, additional vendors, and a very special guest appearance. More than two dozen new and returning performance troupes will present over 40 shows each day.
Patrons can enjoy music from Vermont’s own rocking pipe & drum band Prydein, experience the excitement of the returning joust team Equus Nobilis, as well as be entertained by the Pirates of Fortune’s Folly and Baechtold & Abel Aerialists performing twenty feet in the air. They will be joined by singers, musicians, dancers, medieval encampments, live combat demonstrations, equestrian games, and much more.
This year’s Faire also welcomes special guest Adrian Paul, best known as Duncan MacLeod from the television series Highlander: The Series. Adrian Paul will host his Sword Experience classes three times daily and will also be available for photos and autographs throughout the weekend. Fans can meet the Highlander himself, learn stage combat techniques, and capture a memorable photo with an Immortal.
The Vermont Renaissance Faire also invites guests to become part of the adventure. Visitors can test their skills at archery and axe throwing, challenge friends to a boffer duel, or explore interactive activities throughout the grounds. Children can meet cast members, play period-inspired games, visit a mermaid, and even pet a unicorn.
