​Shimmynannigans

The Shimmynannigans of New Hampshire are a performance troupe behaving, entertaining, collecting commodities and dancing at local renaissance faires. You may find them behaving, or bellydancing!

​The Longshanks

The Longshanks are a stilt walking, storytelling duo from Brattleboro Vermont. As they wander about performing to the delight of all, keep a watchful eye and an open ear for stories of wonder and enchantment. Tall tales!​​

​Shakespeare Approves

All the Faire’s a stage… and Shakespeare Approves! The one and only Shakespeare Approves brings his uproarious, interactive comedy to the Vermont Renaissance Faire! Prepare for a whirlwind of Elizabethan wit, improv, and audience antics as the Bard himself takes you on a hilariously twisted journey through the classics. Whether you love Shakespeare or slept through him in school — he’s got jokes for everyone. Trust us, the Bard’s never been this fun!

​Vixens En Garde

Fierce. Funny. Fearless. Vixens En Garde are ready to steal the show (and maybe your heart) at the Vermont Renaissance Faire! These sword-wielding women bring sharp wit, sharper blades, and unforgettable entertainment. You don’t want to miss this high-energy, high-impact performance!

​Na Buachailli

Not having inherited a landholding, these three buachaillí (lads) have taken to the open road. As they ramble from one market town to another, they take in the news (and gossip) of ordinary folk – fisherman, sailors, soldiers, plowboys, peasants, maidens – and put it all to music. Hear their songs of battles, of love won and lost, of supernatural events. Na Buachaillí play their ballads and tunes on Irish bagpipes, flute, whistle, guitar, mandolin, cittern and bass viola.

​L.I.A.R.S.

With a motto, "We are the L.I.A.R.S.; you can trust us!" The Ladies of Integrity, Aristocracy, Repute, and Society find their delight in bringing song to every corner of the world! Most often in the form of their lovely harmonies, rousing renditions of sea chanties, and merrily sung traditional folk music.

​SCA

​A local branch of the Society for Creative Anachronism, our shire is located within the Northern Region of the East Kingdom. The SCA is an inclusive community pursuing research and re-creation of pre-17th-century skills, arts, combat, and culture. The lives of participants are enriched as we gain knowledge of history through activities, demonstrations, and events.

​Auntie Arwens Spices

Auntie Arwen, known in the "real world" as Jane T. Sibley,  has been a member of the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA) ever since the first Pennsic held at Coopers' Lake.  She creates over 300 spice blends, as well as salts, peppercorns, and more.  From teas and cocoas, to salt and pepper blends, and sweets and sugars, Auntie Arwen's Spices are the perfect blend for any occasion! ​

​Betwixt Broomworks

Betwixt Broomworks brings old-world craftsmanship to life at the Winter Renaissance Faire. Based in Vermont, this small farm and workshop is best known for its beautifully handcrafted besoms and brooms, each made using traditional techniques and natural materials. From practical household brooms to whimsical, magical designs, their work blends function, folklore, and artistry. ​Middle-earth Bakery

Middle-earth Bakery provides Tolkien inspired baked goods guaranteed to keep you nourished through all your unexpected journeys! From hand pies to honey cakes, lembas bread to biscuts!

​St. Johnsbury Distillery

St. Johnsbury Distillery was established in 2017 after purchasing one of the oldest distilleries in Vermont, Dunc’s Mill est. 2001. Dunc’s Mill was founded by Master Distiller Duncan Holaday, a pioneer of the art of craft distilling and recipient of the American Distilling Institute’s  Lifetime Achievement Award in 2019. St. Johnsbury Distillery started production with some of Dunc’s Mill’s craft spirits, while also developing some new recipes.  They follow in his philosophy of craft distilling by fermenting, distilling, bottling and barreling on site from scratch.

​The Fudge Lady
